Household Recycling Centres

Household Waste Recycling Centres are provided for householders to enable them to dispose of their own wastes for recycling or disposal.

Premier operates these sites on behalf of Durham County Council, South Tyneside Council and Darlington Council.

During 2003-2006 the majority of the sites were upgraded and now provide additional recycling facilities in order to improve recycling rates across the region. A full list of recycling facilities at each site can be found on the Council Websites.

The Household Waste Recycling Centres are open every day of the year except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
