COMPOST

We take in green waste from local authorities and business and make it into great compost.

We make both PAS100 compost and non-PAS compost.

The composting process produces a peat free, soil conditioner, made from recycled plant material. The soil conditioner contains natural humus and plant nutrients and has been proven to maintain healthy plant growth and improve soil structure and fertility. The product has been made purely from organic garden wastes (grass clippings, tree prunings, leaves etc.) and originates from domestic gardens, parks and landscaping activities.

Premier’s soil conditioner has been used on numerous projects within the North-East, the most notable being the restoration of Albert Park in Middlesbrough.

What is PAS 100 compost

The compost is made using the garden clippings from householders and cuttings from local authority parks. It is matured in open-air, turned windrows. To be PAS 100 compliant the green waste must be source segregated, in other words it is not mixed with any other waste and it must pass the PAS 100 test.
We are PAS100 complaint and Association for Organics Recycling certified at both our compost production sites.

The compost that meets the Quality Protocol can be shipped off the site of production without waste regulatory controls.
