- Junk mail
- Envelopes (remove plastic windows)
- Catalogues
- White telephone directories
- White and coloured paper
Glass
- Glass bottles
- Glass jars
Metal
- Steel food & drinks cans
- Aluminium cans
- Metal aerosol cans
To help keep your box clean it is advisable to give food cans and glass items a quick rinse.
Flatten cans where possible to maximise the space available in your box.
The tops of cans can be put inside the can and the can bent ro hold them in place.
NO THANKS
- Plastic or metal caps, lids or bottle tops.
- Plastic windows from envelopes.
- Cereal boxes, washing powder boxes or any other cardboard.
- Gift wrapping paper or greetings cards.
- Window panes, windscreens, broken glass, Pyrex or cookware, light bulbs or spectacles.
- Crockery or other ceramics.
- Tin foil or paint cans.
