Regular Liaison meetings are held for both Joint Stocks and Todhills Landfill site with local residents and Councillors; this gives the opportunity for the Company to outline the future plans for the site, any ongoing works and also it is a forum for residents to raise any concerns directly to a Company representative.
Premier has a well established complaints management system to ensure that complaints are passed to the right person, and the issue resolved as soon as possible with feedback given as required.
Premier is committed to supporting local charities and regularly donates money through its Kerb-It scheme. For every tonne of recyclable materials collected by Kerb-it, Premier donates £1 to good causes. Also, through the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme, Premier has paid over £500,000 to the County Durham Environmental Trust and the Teesside Environmental Trust. This money enables the Trusts to grant fund environmental projects throughout the region.
