THE COUNTY DURHAM ENVIRONMENTAL TRUST (CDENT)
The County Durham Environmental Trust (CDENT) was established in April 1997 following an initiative of Premier Waste Management and Durham County Council.
It aims to maximise benefit to the environment by use of the Landfill Communities Fund.
Premier Waste Management has allowed maximum benefit to be achieved from the scheme by donating over £10m over the last 10 years to CDENT to allow a host of projects which benefit the local environment and the people who live, work and visit County Durham, Gateshead, South Tyneside and Sunderland.
